Privacy Policy
Mullet Town Family Recipes is a small private app run by Joshua Mullet (Mullet Town) for his own family. This policy explains what it reads from Pinterest, what it keeps, and how to have it deleted.

What the app does
A family member who chooses to connect their Pinterest account lets the app read their own pins and boards. A few times a day the app looks at that person’s newest pins. When a pin links to a recipe web page, the app opens that public page and copies out the recipe’s title, ingredients, steps and picture, and keeps a link back to the original. The person then sees these in a private recipe list on their own family page.
Information we access from Pinterest
With read-only permission (the pins:read, boards:read and user_accounts:read scopes), and only for the person who connected:
Their Pinterest username; their pins’ IDs, titles, descriptions, links, pictures and the dates they were saved; and the boards those pins are on. The app does not read anyone else’s pins or boards, followers, messages or ads data.
What we never do
The app never creates, saves, edits or deletes pins or boards, never follows anyone, and never posts anything to Pinterest. It does not sell, rent, share or publish any information, does not show ads, and does not use the information for anything other than showing that person their own recipes.
Where it is stored
The Pinterest sign-in token and the saved recipes are kept on a single computer in our home, in files only the app can read. They are not uploaded to any cloud service and are not shared with anyone. The private recipe page is reachable only on our own private home network.
How long we keep it
Recipes stay on the list until the person removes them. The record of which pins were already checked is kept for up to a year. If the person disconnects Pinterest, the sign-in token is deleted at once and no further pins are read.
Your choices
You can disconnect at any time from the recipe list on your page, or by removing the app from the connected apps in your Pinterest settings. To have every saved recipe and pin record deleted, email us and we will delete it within 7 days.
Children
The app is not intended for children and is used only by adults in our family.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
