Privacy
The short version: I count visits so I know what people find useful. I don’t sell anything, and there are no ads here.
Visit counts
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits: which pages get read, how people found the site, roughly where in the world they are, and how long they stay. It uses cookies to tell a new visitor from a returning one. Google explains how it handles that data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
It also uses Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymous replays of how people move through the pages (clicks, scrolling) and turns them into heat maps. It hides what you type. Microsoft’s details are in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Things you send me
If you book a time or ask Alfred a question, what you enter is saved so I can read it and reply. That includes your name and email if you give them. I don’t share it with anyone.
Opting out
Browser tracking protection or an ad blocker will stop the counting, and the site works the same either way. To have anything you sent me deleted, email me.
